I grew up in Vancouver and have lived in Nanaimo for 25 years. I am self-employed as a mortgage broker and was a director of Community Futures for many years.  

I believe in individual rights and freedoms. I am against socialism and collectivism.  

Big governments and their massive debts are not sustainable.  We need less government and lower taxes.  Self-government and self-determination are the directions we must take or risk losing our rights and freedoms and our privacy.  

Freedom of speech and freedom of choice are fundamental concepts that I will fight for.

I am against big, coercive governments that seek total control of our lives.  Power to the People!
